Body Core and Training

Body core training is essential in developing a well trained soccer player.
The core consists of the parts in the lumbar region, pelvic region and hip region.
There are a number of drills and exercises that will develop and enhance core strength.  There are stabilization and strength exercises and power exercises.
The FIFA 11 exercises are excellent for a base of the body core training.  Extensive core development drills can be found on the internet from a more professional point of view than I can give.  I use these for the teams I coach, but cannot profess these to be my own and paraphrasing them would not do justice.  Just search for core training and you'll find a number of connections.
